We are an Association committed to the preservation of the history and artefacts of Australian Army Infantry units which have been identified by the numeral '9' since the first World War and before.

The current serving direct descendent Unit, 9th Battalion The Royal Queensland Regiment (Army Reserve), traces its history directly from the Frogs Hollow Rangers formed in 1867 for the defence of the Colony of Queensland. It is currently based at Enoggera Barracks, Brisbane.

We welcome people who have an interest in preserving the military history of 9 RQR, 9 RAR and 8/9 RAR and their forbearing units, to be members of the Association.
